How do we recycle?
Most of your recyclables like, tin, aluminum and plastic, can be bagged together in any standard trash bag (clear bags are preferred but not necessary). Glass will need to be set aside in a box or bag (feed bags work great for glass). Please note everything is hand sorted so please keep recycling clean and free of anything sharp.
How do you want us to set our trash and recycling out?
Please have trash and recycling to the curb by 6:30 a.m on your scheduled pick up day. Trash & recycling needs to be bagged and tied. You can set your recycling beside your trash can, or on top of your trash bags in receptacle.
Do you have a drop off location?
No. We are a pick-up service only. Most recycling is donated to Baxter Recycling off the bypass in Mountain Home on Rossi Road to help provide jobs for our friends and neighbors with disabilities.
Do I have to recycle?
In short, no. We do strongly encourage you to try recycling. Start with just one item like cardboard, glass, or plastic bottles. We donate the recycling to Baxter Recycling, a non-profit organization that provides jobs for our friends and neighbors with disabilities.
What happens if we have more trash than normal one week?
Occasionally, it's ok if you have more than your allowed amount. If it is a reoccurring situation or an excessive amount, we charge $5 per additional bag of trash.
Do you provide a cart/trash bin?
Yes! Service with a trash bin is an additional $5 per month with a one-time $35 processing fee. You can also opt to use your own bin.
Do you accept yard waste?
No. We do not accept any leaves, grass clippings, or other organic debris.
